Super star Krishna has given the first clap while Ramanaidu switched on the camera. Vijaya Nirmala directed the first shot of this film. Regina makes his debut with this film as a female lead. The film is the remake of Tamil super hit film SMS.
During the press conference producer RB Chowdary said “We are hoping that SMS will be a super hit like the Tamil version and we happy to present the Telugu version of the film”.
SMS is presented by Super Good Films, Honey Bee Entertainments joined hands with Ghattamaneni Priya to produce this film. Tatineni Satya who has earlier directed critically-acclaimed film Bhimili Kabaddi Jattu is directing SMS. Rajesh has penned the story while dialogs are by Nadyala Ravi. Music is by Selva and Chitti Babu is incharge of cinematography.
