Pawan Kalyan hands over Gabbar Singh to Ganesh babu

Looks like after the debacle of ‘Theenmaar’ which Ganesh Babu has produced, Pawan Kalyan is trying to resurrect Ganesh’s film career as a producer. As a part of this plan Kalyan handed over the production responsibilities of his Gabbar Singh, a remake of  Dabangg to Ganesh babu.

Initially it was Pawan who was set to produce Gabbar Singh under Pawan Kalyan creative works but sources point out that as he will busy in participating for ‘The Shadow’ [working title] with Vishnu Vardhan he thought that it would be a bigger task to manage production and acting simultaneously for Gabbar Singh before thinking the fact that Theenmaar was a flop for him and Ganesh.

“Ganesh’s career as a producer witnessed two flops back to back. First it was Anjaneyulu and later Theenmaar. So Pawan wants Ganesh to score a hit, add to it Ganesh is his dear friend and he liked the way Ganesh handled the production of Theenmaar”, added our source.

Meanwhile Gabbar Singh’s first schedule will start as soon as ‘The Shadow’ completes its first schedule in Kolkatta. Harish Shankar will direct Gabbar Singh. Though no heroine is fixed to star opposite Kalyan right now, sources indicate that Kajal is the strong contender for the role.
